Mako San was born on February 4, 1976, in Flower Fifth Hospital in New York City. His father is a retired Department of Labor Director and his mother is a retired Hotel Services Director. Under the influence of an island that often identified itself with music and a musical family, Mako San had been singing since he was young. But it was in internship at Sony Music where he decided to sing as a hobby. As the years progressed many unfortunate incidents occurred, the most challenging of them was being homeless after 9/11. Mako San overcame the homelessness and opened a Martial Arts Studio named Full Element Martial Arts serving the community for over two decades.
